‘The Voice of Stray Dogs’ (VOSD), an India-based leader in dog rescue, rehabilitation, and professional medical care, has announced a set of grants totaling Rs 1.4 crores. It is annually aimed at individuals, agencies, and NGOs engaged in the rescue and rehabilitation of stray dogs across India.
VOSD works with dog rescuers and NGOs throughout India for the betterment of lives of stray dogs. Earlier, we have engaged and helped different agencies on a case-by-case basis, including donating 15 laptops and computers with CUPA Bangalore, Sarvodaya Bangalore and Friendicoes as beneficiaries. We have hosted fundraisers that made critical infrastructure possible for the Maruthi Shelter in Bangalore and St Bernardo in Gurgaon, among many others. We have paid for rescue & medical care of hundreds of dogs in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and 30 other cities, and for their eventual transportation to the VOSD Sanctuary and Hospital.
